1962 LHS graduate, Cloa Louise (Kirkland) Keese, died Sunday, June 9, 2002.

Cloa was born May 12, 1942 in Haskell, Texas and graduated from Lueders High School with the Class of 1962.

She was a hairstylist and worked at Beth's Beauty Salon in Abilene, Texas until her retirement in 2000.

She was a member of Nugent Baptist Church in Nugent, Texas.

Cloa married Mack Keesee on August 29, 1964. He preceded her in death in March, 2000.

Survivors include her daughter, Machelle Green of Abilene; a son, Shane Keesee of Abilene; and six grandchildren, Miranda Rousset, Myndi Davis, Mikeal Green, Taylor Keesee, Shayne Keesee, and Colton Keesee.

She is also survived by two sisters, Myrl Andress of Haskell and Virginia Bowen of Knox City, a brother, B.D. Kirkland of Ft. Worth; 23 nieces and nephews; and many great-nieces and great-nephews.

Services were held at the Elliott-Hamil Funeral Home Chapel of Faith, with Reverend Justin Kreig officiating.

Burial was at Ft. Phantom Hill Cemetery.
