I received the following from Wayne Verble this morning as well as a phone call from Edith Ham.

I have not only lost a classmate but, also a real buddy as Alma Lou "Wills" Sims was more like a sister to me and I don't feel like expanding on this too much except to say that Lou had been in the hospital in Anson and Hendrick in Abilene since the Wednesday after Christmas with double pneumonia and had been on a ventilator for the past week.

Edith Ham said they were taking Lou to Stamford and her burial will be in Funston cemetery but, other then that the rest of the arrangements are incomplete.

Max sent this out to several of his classmates but, it never got on the Chat Line and I think it should be so. I am taking the liberty to add it.

You might remember my Cousin, Calvin who was Fred Sides oldest son that had the garage in Lueders.

The three children were Joyce Sides class of 49, Reggie Sides class of 47 and Calvin class of 46 and were all grads from Lueders.

Calvin died in Midland last night from lung compications from 50 years of smoking. He was 79 and a good man.
