How to Create a Simply Web Page - Part 1
Purpose of this Web Page is to show the first time novice how to do a very very simply Web Page just to get them started. If you've never created Web Pages before we urge you to take it step by step in stages and we believe you will start finding that web pages are not all that complicated.

And YES, After 16 years of doing web pages, we still prefer using a Text Editor because we can more closely position things where we want items and our experience has been the automatic page makers such as Front Page - Dream Weaver and others have to guess at what you want and then we don't like all the extra and absolutely unnecessary coding the Automatic jobs dump into every web page. "Our  Opinion"

Advanced Computer Users with an understanding of Computers but, lack experience with creating Web Pages may want to skip over to:...   HERE

I will also suggest all serious Web Page Makers review an excellant explanation of a Web Page I found on the internet:...   HERE

For the Beginner and a simply one line web page there is nothing else required other then copying or typing into the program "Notepad" all the code between the two RED lines:...

<html>
<head>
<title> Somebodys Web Page </title>
</head>
<p>
<body>
<p>
Hi - This is my Web Page
<p>
</body>
</html>

Next step is to save the code in NotePad to a file named index.html and then load the index.html into a Web Browser and your web page should look like this:

Somebodys Web Page

Hi - This is my Web Page

We suggest doing another page and enhance it a little by Right Clicking on this Image     and save it to the same Folder you will be saving the web page too and then copy the code between the blue lines into another page and save it too the same Folder you did the image, Next load the file (Web Page) into a Web Browser and review the slightly enhanced Web Page.

<html>

<font color="#ff00ff" size=+2 face=arial><b>Hi - This is my Web Page

The Above has Inserted an Image - Provided a Link to another Web Site and
Shown the Enhancement of the Font Color and Size
We hope the above kick starts someone into learning how to do Web Pages as we find doing Web Pages is both Fun, Creative and best of all Relaxing.

We said to name your Web Page "index.html" because the Web Browsers are programed to load the page named index.html at your web site. The other pages can be named anything but, the home page must be named index.html
