A typical centralized Oil Well Power House of the early years which protected the engine that turned an eccentric to make the rod lines running to the oil wells go back and forth and then through the Pump Jack at the oil well the motion was transferred to an up and down one for the rods in the well to operate a piston pump in the bottom of the well.
